Snake River Kayaking // Centennial Park, Twin Falls Idaho

One of our friends from Idaho Bucket List was brave enough to take us and our two kiddos kayaking the other day along the Snake River in Centennial Park. At first Little Bug was NOT down with being in the kayak. Apparently he wanted to face backwards so he could chill without doing any of the paddling effort. Our oldest absolutely loved kayaking.

I can only imagine how stunning the sunset is on the river. We have both decided that if we lived here, owning kayaks would be a MUST. Fun fact (depending on how you define fun). The Perrine Bridge is the only unregulated bridge in the United States you can jump off of without a permit. Yes you read that right. People who are missing the part of their brain that tells them not to do something because it's unsafe can base jump from this bridge whenever they wish. Any time, any day. Oh and they do. It's not uncommon to be driving over the bridge only to see 1, 2, sometimes even 4 or 5 people jumping off the bridge one after the next. You can hire a company to go with like Tamdem Base, but most people just do it on their own. While down below we saw at least 4 jumpers take off and launch their parachutes. That's in addition to the 2 powered parachuters we saw flying across the sky.

All in all it was an amazing experience. If you have the chance to river kayak, do it!
